Residential Heating System Incentives
Maximum Rebate is $600.00 per structure.
For geothermal or "Energy Star" heat pump systems, Kingsbury Electric will provide: $600.00 rebate per structure, and a 5% interest rate loan for the cost of the electric heating equipment, ductwork, wiring and labor. To receive the Kingsbury Electric's rebate, equipment must be new electrical equipment and must be a least 2 ton electric heat pump and Energy Star certified. Only ONE electric heating incentive payment will be paid per structure every 15 years.
Loans will have an interest rate of 5% and will be limited to $25,000 and maybe for a period of up to 84 months.
Water Heater Rebates
KEC will provide rebates for only electric water heaters, which are connected to the load management system, and either carry a lifetime warranty against tank leakage or are units installed in new construction with a .9 energy factor and 10 year warranty, are eligible for rebates. A six dollar rebate per gallon will be given to the member is a copy of the sales receipt showing model number and serial number is provided, and if they have not previously received a rebate at the same location in the past 15 years.
